Q2 2024: Top 5 Wellness Apps in the UK Show Varied User Engagement

In the second quarter of 2024, the wellness app market in the United Kingdom has seen an interesting mix of user engagement across various platforms. Sensor Tower provides us with a closer look at the performance of the top five wellness applications.

Flora - Green Focus experienced a peak in downloads during the second week of April with around 24K downloads, followed by a declining trend to reach about 1K by the end of June. Revenue showed a significant drop in June, hitting zero, while weekly active users decreased from approximately 37K to under 10K in the same period.

For BetterSleep: Relax and Sleep, downloads saw a sharp increase in mid-June with nearly 40K, contrasting with a low of around 4K in mid-April. The app's revenue also spiked mid-June to over 24K USD before halving the following week. Weekly active users grew consistently, peaking at over 100K in mid-June.

The Me+ Daily Routine Planner downloads hovered between 6K and 15K, while its revenue saw an increase towards the end of May, reaching a high of 16K USD. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, starting at just over 100K and ending the quarter at around 80K.

Headspace: Sleep & Meditation maintained a revenue of over 100K USD throughout the quarter, with a slight peak in late May. Downloads ranged from about 8K to 12K, and the weekly active users showed a slight decline from around 188K to 168K.

Lastly, I Am Sober saw its downloads fluctuate between 7K and 11K. Revenue had its ups and downs, with noticeable peaks in late April and early June, reaching nearly 10K and over 8K USD respectively. Weekly active users showed a general decline, starting at close to 191K and decreasing to around 178K by the end of the quarter.
